As a Sky-Watch UAV is doing a fly-over of a mine field, it has been programmed to take a series of high resolution pictures that can be stitched together as highly detailed map.

This map enables the UAV operators to study the area intensely. Aerial photographs often reveal vital information that is invisible from ground-level unless you physically enter the mine field. This could be old military dug-outs, streams, excavations or visible mine on the ground.

By using a computer mouse to click on the map, the operator can make the UAV hover close to the ground over a specific location for even more detailed close-ups.
